Becky's Visit - Saturday

On Saturday I had planned to meet up at the zoo with my old book club from Orem. So Becky and Zachary came along. Jacob, Kat, and family also met us up there. It was a huge group but we had a good time!


Zachary and Charlie hung out in the stroller together.
This was Henry's first time walking the entire time at the zoo.
He LOVED it. And he did a pretty good job of staying with us.

The kids had a great time together.
I love having the cousins together!

Henry loved watching the polar bear walk back and forth.

Lily almost ran circles trying to keep up with the polar bear.

We saw the newest addition to the zoo - a baby giraffe!
She was only born a few weeks ago.
She was pretty cute!

We saw another baby - a snow leopard cub.
She put on quite the show for us.
She kept climbing up the logs, dropping her toy, and falling off the logs.

She finally climbed up by her mama.

Too cute!

And of course, no trip to the zoo would be complete without a ride or two on the carousel!

Henry was in heaven riding on the baby elephant.
(He's rather obsessed with the baby elephant.)

William rode the cheetah.

Zachary also had fun riding on a kangaroo!

This was Charlie's first time on an animal on the carousel.
He loved it!

That night we had an adults only dinner for my mother's parents.
They celebrated their 60th anniversary!
What an achievement!
I didn't get any pictures there, but we had a great time.
It was so fun to sit with my brother and sisters and our spouses and laugh and talk together.
The evening was lovely. It was fun to hear how my grandparents met and fell in love.
They are a great example to me of how a marriage should be.

Becky went home Sunday morning. We had a great time with her and Zachary!
We love and miss you already, Wonderful Becky!
(William kept telling her how wonderful she is. So that is her new nickname!)
