Here is a look back at Henry.
These pictures are from 4/22/11 through 5/21/11. But the update is from then until now.
12 month stats:
22 pounds
30 inches tall
47 cm head circumference
Overall he's in the 50th percentile. Seems perfect to me!
When Henry is happy (which is 98% of the time) he is really happy! He loves to play with his toys, with his brother, and with David and me. One of the funniest things he does is showing his emotion with his fists. When he is really excited/happy/angry he puts his fists up and clenches them as tight as he can! He also bunches up his face when he does this. It is hilarious! I really need to get a picture of it!

Henry is an excellent cruiser. He'll walk along the furniture all day long. He did take 2 steps on the 17th of May and then 5 steps on the 18th. He'll take some steps here and there, but other than that, he just doesn't seem to care about walking. I wish he would though (famous last words, right?)! One of these days, he's going to amaze us all by getting up and walking/running all over. I just know it.
Henry LOVES reading! And I love that he loves it. I was worried for a while because he really wanted nothing to do with it. But now I often walk in to find him reading. I love hearing his babbles as he flips through his books. It really makes me so happy that both of my boys love reading. My goal is to continue to foster that in them!
This was Henry's first (and only) time wearing his sandals. He didn't know what to think of them at first.
Then he decided he really didn't like them!
What can I say, we just prefer bare feet in this family (well, except for David).
When Henry cries he makes some of the saddest faces you'll see. And he produces lots of big crocodile tears. It melts my heart and it makes me giggle.
Henry does not like being growled at. Although he's getting more used to it now. Usually when we growl or roar at him he makes this face above.
And then this happens. Yes, I am a mean mom. I purposely make Henry cry on occasion because we just love his sad little face! His lip puckers out and it is just so darling. We always comfort him.
Some other random bits about Henry:
He now has 9 teeth. His bottom left side tooth finally came through right after his birthday. And now he has his left top molar coming through.
He is still a really good eater, but he definitely has his picky moments.
He can say Jesus, what's that, daddy, bird, more, and moo.
He can sign all done, more, please, thank you, milk, and bird.
We love you Henry boy!
