We've had a fun week this last week.
We took several opportunities to enjoy the beautiful weather.

On Monday we had a picnic and played in the park for Family Night. William really enjoyed the swings. I took him down a few slides and I think he enjoyed that too.
On Thursday we went to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens for the Tulip Festival. We were surprised at the huge variety of tulips they had. I really liked the dark red and dark purple tulips. They were gorgeous!!! We even saw some black tulips that were very pretty. We also saw a little family of Canada Geese. The little goslings were super cute! William enjoyed being outside and the nice breeze. He enjoyed the bumpy walkways so much that he fell asleep! David resisted the urge to roll down the large hill, even though there were lots of people doing it. After we left the park we got some soft serve ice cream cones from the Thanksgiving Point village. William loved the few bites he got! I've never seen his mouth open SO wide!!!We took several opportunities to enjoy the beautiful weather.

William has also been working very hard this week on learning new tricks! On Tuesday he got into the sitting position all by himself! On Thursday he finally figured out how to crawl!!! We've enjoyed watching him crawl around. On Saturday my Grandma Gowans helped him learn how to stick his tongue out really far. It is pretty funny. And today, he figured out how to clap!!! Yeah!!!! It is so fun watching him grow. He makes us laugh all the time!
We hope you had a great week too!
