On Christmas Eve we went to the Neal Family Party. We always have a great dinner provided by my Aunt Rosemary. Then we have a program. This year's program included some of the things we always have in the program, and it also included some new additions. It was a great party!
My Grandpa Neal always reads Luke 2 to us. This year he also read another Christmas story to us.
My Aunt Nancy dressed up as a penguin and read a story to all the great grandkids. It was pretty funny!
My Uncle Kelly dressed up as Santa and gave presents to all the great grandkids. William didn't really enjoy sitting on his lap.
After the party we went back to our apartment. David and I decided during our first Christmas together that we wanted to have a Christmas Eve present. We decided that we would give an ornament on Christmas Eve to each of our children. We want the ornament to be something that represents that year. By the time our children are grown, they will have their own special collection of ornaments. It was really fun doing it this year for William. We gave him a Baby's First Christmas ornament. We opened it up when we came home from the party and hung it on our tree. William was surprised to see his picture in the ornament!

We got the same ornament for Makayla. She got it in her stocking. Great minds think alike.
