Christmas Day: At Home

Our first Christmas together, David and I decided that we wanted to spend Christmas morning in our own home. We have done that each Christmas we've been married and we love it! We love spending the time together as a little family. This year we almost decided to spend the night at my parents' house because of the snow storm expected Christmas day, but in the end we decided to take a risk and stay at home. We are so glad we did! We really enjoyed spending Christmas morning together as our own little family.

Our Christmas tree - before it dried up and died due to the heater blowing on it.

Christmas morning!
We all received some very nice presents. David gave me a waffle iron, 2 skirts, and a blouse. David and William gave me a Willow Tree Figurine called Angel of Mine. I gave David Phase 10 Master's Edition, Monopoly the card game, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (in hardcover). William and I gave David the Willow Tree Figurine called New Dad because we both think that David is a wonderful father. We gave William some fun toys and some clothes. He also got an outfit from his great grandma Pollard. The family got some new Disney movies and some Elephant and Piggie books by Mo Willems.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We really enjoyed celebrating our Savior's birth!
