Our zoo membership gives us one free family admission to Zoo lights.
So on December 8th we met up with Shannon and her family and our cousin, Sara to go to the zoo lights.
We got our tickets and entered the gates.
And then the lights went out! They flicked on and off again and then stayed off.

We went over to see the reindeer, but shortly after that we were told they were closing the zoo.
William kept telling me "this is not fun, mommy." "this is not cool, mommy." He was pretty bummed.
So we packed up and went back home and had a late night watching Brave together instead.
So on Wednesday the 12th we met up with Sara again to attempt zoo lights for a 2nd time.
This time it was a huge success!

We saw lots of amazing lights.
Most of the animals were sleeping or indoors so we mainly enjoyed the lights!
William loves being with Sara. She is a really sweet friend!
They enjoyed watching the seals and sea lion together.
The mom and baby snow leopard were cuddled up together. It was adorable!
I thought this was SO cute and fun!
